Kumar Anurag Singh

Anurag is one of the brightest minds in the legal fraternity and is a practicing advocate before various judicial fora ranging from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, High Courts across the country and various Tribunals. Apart from having a vast experience of over 15 years in adverse fields of law, Anurag has excelled in the CorporateCommercial Litigation with his strong presence and practice in the National Company Law Tribunals and National Company Law Appellate Tribunal.

Coming from the industrial town of Tata Nagar (commonly called Jamshedpur), Anurag did his schooling form the renowned Loyola School, Jamshedpur which greatly contributed to his character and confidence building. He currently forms part of the Executive Team of the Loyola Alumni Association, Delhi Chapter. He did his graduation in law from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. During his days in Law School, he had the opportunity of interning with the office of Late Mr. Amarendra Sharan, the then Additional Solicitor General for India.

Anurag started his legal practice in the year 2007 under the mentorship of Mr. Amarjit Singh Chandiok, Senior Advocate. He subsequently joined the Chambers of Mr. K.T.S Tulsi, Senior Advocate (Currently member of the Rajya Sabha). Having gained substantial experience and expertise, Anurag started his own chamber practice in the year 2012.

With the advent of private practice, Anurag got the opportunity to represent the State of Jharkhand as an Arguing Counsel. He presently represents State of Jharkhand as an Additional Standing Counsel and is also representing the Government of India as a Panel-A Counsel before the Apex Court. He specializes in Corporate-Commercial Litigation and has represented numerous high value companies before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, High Courts and Company Courts around the country. Currently, Anurag is a partner in ‘Singh and Mukherjee Chambers’, a reputed law firm, with its office in New Delhi.

Since childhood, Anurag has had a keen interest in automobiles and has ever since kept a close watch in this sector. He believes that this sector has a huge potential, specially, with the advent of the electric mobility era coupled with the pro-active policies adopted at both, the state and the national level. With the ‘Make in India’ program going at a never-seen-before pace, Anurag is sure that this sector will be an outperformer in less than a decade
